In a quiet little farm, lives a rooster named Gigi. He is proud of his strong voice, which wakes everyone up every morning. To him, it is a daily celebration of life, a way to greet the sun and remind the other animals that the day has started.
In a quiet little farm, lives a rooster named Gigi. He is proud of his strong voice, which wakes everyone up every morning. To him, it is a daily celebration of life, a way to greet the sun and remind the other animals that the day has started.
Every year, the village hosts "The Golden Voice Contest." Farm birds compete for the best singing. The prize? A bowl of cereal and a gold medal. Gigi dreams about getting them both. So, he practises daily, perfecting his morning song. He is confident that he can win.
Yet, not everyone on the farm shares Gigi's dreams. Ticu the turkey and Dora the duck think Gigi's ambitions are ridiculous. They find them silly. They think a simple rooster can never win a big contest.
"Who do you think you are, Gigi?" Ticu would mock. "You're just a rooster with a bad voice."
"Exactly!" Dora agrees. "Your voice is loud and strong, but it's hardly elegant. A true voice needs grace, not volume!"
Hearing that, Gigi begins to lose his confidence.
