Gigi the rooster stands tall and does not let the turkey and duck make fun of his voice. “I know you don’t believe in me, but this is my dream. I will try, no matter what you say,” he says.

On the contest day, when his turn comes, Gigi steps forward. He takes a deep breath, closes his eyes, and crows louder and more beautifully than ever before. For a moment, everyone is silent. Then, they clap and cheer! The judges are amased. His voice is strong and full of emotion.“The Golden Voice prize goes to Gigi the rooster, with the most remarkable crow we’ve ever heard!”

Gigi, with wide eyes and a heart full of joy, accepts his prize.

From that day on, animals and poultry at the farm admire Gigi’s crow instead of ridiculing it. Gigi's dream has come true. It is because he believed in himself, even when no one else did. Every morning, Gigi's crow rings out across the farm. It reminds everybody that, in order to shine, you must follow your inner voice. Gigi won, despite all the bullying and doubts from the other poultry.
