Learning outcomes

Prezi is a presentation making tool that will support students in developing their presentations in whatever context it might be needed, making it a tool able to be used in multiple subjects.
Students will practice skills related to developing their own content as well as their collaboration skills if they engage in team work, which is supported by the basic plan of the platform.
Additionally, the teacher may ask students to utilize the AI presentation generation feature, improving their prompt engineering skills and their digital skills in the context of adjusting/ making changes to the AI generated presentation.

Reviews / Recommendations

In the classroom, Prezi can make lessons interactive by using its zoomable canvas to maintain student interest. Group projects benefit from real-time collaboration features, encouraging teamwork and digital skills. Visual storytelling with Prezi helps students present reports creatively on various topics. Teachers can use Prezi for flipped classrooms, preparing content for at-home exploration followed by in-class discussions. Student presentations with Prezi offer an engaging alternative assessment method, promoting understanding and creativity.

Example of the tool as a good practice

The teacher may ask students to utilize Prezi in the context of every activity or project that results in students presenting the outcomes of their work.
Furthermore, to familiarize them with simple AI applications, the teacher may ask students to generate a presentation using AI and then make changes adding information or improving the content, both visually as well as in terms of the data presented. Students may gain additional knowledge in relation to the topic of the presentation. For example, the teacher may ask students to work in teams to generate using the AI feature a presentation about Pythagoras and present it to the classroom.

Inclusion

The use of digital tools, by each student, at his/her own pace, allows for greater inclusiveness. The tool may be used by deaf students.
