MathCityMap is an innovative educational platform that transforms cities into interactive outdoormathematics classrooms. Developed by researchers at Goethe University Frankfurt, MathCityMapcombines mobile technology with real-world environments to engage students in meaningfulmathematical explorations. Using the MathCityMap app, students embark on math trails throughurban landscapes, solving mathematical problems, and completing tasks at various locations.
The MathCityMap app provides access to a vast library of math tasks tailored to different grade levelsand mathematical topics. These tasks range from geometry and algebra to statistics and probability,allowing for interdisciplinary learning experiences.
