Hanna lies and says she can’t help Paulina because she has dance lessons after school. Miss Honey knows this is a lie. Without help, Paulina has got a lot of work to catch up on. But now, Paulina isn’t as mean as she was before the accident. Hanna feels bad for not helping. She knows she could have been a good friend and shown others how to be kind. She also feels like she let her teacher down, who really trusted her.

The story shows that we need to respect each other, help each other, share, and care for others. Thanks to this, we will grow up to be empathetic, good and positive people, not selfish.
