Bella is a curious young rabbit who lives in a colourful garden with other animals and insects. She loves hopping around, enjoying the flowers, and making friends with everyone she meets. Bella lives in a cosy burrow and is friendly, though sometimes she doesn't understand why others act differently.

The day of the Garden Party, Bella sees a a new animal in the garden: a hedgehog named Henry. She tries inviting him to play a game. She offers him a flower. She even asks her other friends for advice. However, each time, Henry just rolls into a ball.

Bella begins to feel frustrated. Then she remembers a story her mother told her. She knows that animals have different ways of showing their feelings. She starts thinking. She has to be more understanding and patient.
