When the summer holidays begin, you go to the new playground in town. You meet your friends there and play together on the swings, slides, and other fun equipment.
While playing, you see a boy who is alone. Something feels strange, but you don’t know why. You watch him for a little while. He looks happy playing by himself, but he doesn’t answer when other kids call him. Instead, he smiles and waves when someone touches his shoulder to get his attention.

You keep playing with your friends and don’t think about the boy. But suddenly, you notice something. He is climbing the jungle gym—his favorite place. He looks very happy. When he reaches the top, he smiles and feels proud. But as he starts to climb down, he doesn’t see a group of kids running toward the slide below.
What do you think the problem is?
You run to the jungle gym and shout, “Hey! Be careful! Can you hear me? Watch out!” But the boy doesn’t answer. He falls down hard. His eyes fill with tears. Your friends come closer. Some whisper and laugh. Others make fun of him. The rest just stand and watch.
