Hi, my name is Marta and I am 7 years old. Our maths teacher always gives us a lot of homework, so much that we all struggle to finish it.


During the lesson, the teacher assigns more homework. I see that Anna is worried and doesn't say anything. I know she has a lot of responsibilities at home. For example she must take care of her younger siblings, and she can't always finish her homework.


How do you think Anna feels knowing she has to do her homework but also has chores to do?

Some of our classmates start making rude comments about Anna, because she never finishes her homework. Anna becomes even more sad and worried.


How important is it to recognise when someone is in difficulty?

One day, the teacher assigns more homework. I see that Anna is even more worried. She forgot to bring the last homework, so the teacher told her to do both the old and new assignments. I find Anna in the bathroom, crying.
