Our teacher saw what was happening and quickly stopped it. She told the class it was wrong to act that way. The children listened and started apologising to Sarah. They hugged her and made her feel welcome.

Sarah and I became best friends after that. We sat together in class, played during breaks, and hung out after school. The whole class became close friends. We helped each other, learned new things, and had a great time together. Everyone said we were the best class in school!

That first day of school taught me something important: Instead of teasing people, we should try to understand and help them. Being kind can give someone the confidence they need to feel included in new places.
