Emma lived in a fun neighbourhood. She loved to explore and learn new things. One day, something happened that made her think about different religions.

Emma was playing outside when she saw a big truck. New people were moving in next door! She was excited to meet them. Emma went closer to see.

She saw a family with baskets and colourful rugs. Their clothes were different. They wore long robes and bright hats that sparkled in the sun.

A few days later, Emma's parents invited the new neighbours for tea. Emma was happy to meet them. She had lots of questions. When the neighbours came, Emma was surprised. Anime, the dad, wore a bright hat. Samia, the mom wore a pretty scarf. Emma's parents said hello, and they all started talking. Emma listened, but she did not know the words they used.

How do you think Emma feels when she sees her new neighbours?

They all sat at the table. Emma listened as they talked. Amine and Samia spoke about their old home far away, with busy markets and old buildings. It was hard for Emma to understand what the new neighbours were talking about.

Then, Amine talked about religion. Emma's parents said the neighbours believed in a different God. Emma tried to listen carefully. She was very focused and trying to understand what Amine meant when he talked about prayers and special days.
